مرحبًا بكم في أحد أكثر سجون الفلبين اكتظاظًا، مكانٌ لم يعد فيه الحيز حقًا… بل ترفًا.
داخل سجن جنوب كوتاباتو، ينام الرجال جنبًا إلى جنب. بعضهم مدان، وكثيرون ما زالوا ينتظرون النطق بالحكم.
في بعض السجون، يبدأ العقاب بعد صدور الحكم. أما هنا، فيبدأ بالنسبة للكثيرين قبل صدوره.

ثم دخلتُ أكبر سجن زرته في سيبو — أحد أقسى سجون الفلبين.
هذا ليس سجن سيكوت CECOT.
إنه ليس سجنًا ضخمًا محاطًا بأسوار كهربائية وأبراج مراقبة.

هنا، الجدار الحقيقي هو الاكتظاظ.
بمجرد دخولك، لا تفقد حريتك فحسب…
بل تفقد المساحة، وتفقد الخصوصية، وببطء… يبدأ وقتك بالتلاشي.

Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. More than 95% of the capital is controlled by armed gangs — neighborhoods, roads, fuel, electricity, and even the ports. To film this story, we crossed destroyed streets, passed armed checkpoints, entered IDP camps, and finally met one of the major gang leaders working under the G9/Viv Ansanm alliance — the same coalition led by the notorious Barbecue.
